charming stay near city attractions and beautiful parks
Staying here was fantastic with the nearby Montgomery Castle just a short walk away and the lovely Montgomeryshire County War Memorial just a few steps away. As a solo traveler, the room was spacious, really providing a nice retreat after a day of exploring, but the creaky floorboards were a bit distracting during the night.

Hotel was lovely old, we enjoyed this place.
Everything was perfect, magnificent location adjacent to the centre of Montgomery, the lovely market town and the local attractions, extra special experience. Double room was bright, the beds were lovely. The price was £ 107.

Luxurious and spacious rooms with really good attention to detail.
Unfortunately, the creaky floorboards at night were quite distracting. I also noticed the lack of bright lighting in the room, challenging to read comfortably. I would have appreciated some on-site laundry facilities, especially for longer stays.

Characterful antique furnishings, Relaxing courtyard area, Cleansing and calming ambiance
Minor creaky floorboards could be irritating during the night!!! The lack of powerful lighting makes reading uncomfortable, rather inconvenient. The absence of on-site laundry facilities is another miss for longer stays!!!

Ruth's breakfast was a true culinary delight, especially the homemade marmalade and locally sourced ingredients. The antique furnishings added character.
There's really nothing to report-everything shined, but I did wish for a bell by the flowers, just to make arrivals a tad chattier!

Huge room and tasty breakfast!
We had a blast! Ruth is super sweet, and our room was enormous and comfy. The homemade marmalade at breakfast was a standout! I also really loved that they offered packed lunches, so we could take food while exploring. Just a heads up, the stairs were a bit creaky. But honestly, that's minor.
